What is Symphonic Metal Echoes?
Born in 2024, SME filled a gap in the Romanian festival landscape: a dedicated event for symphonic and power metal fans. No genre dilution, no token booking of one symphonic band on a death metal bill. This is a full weekend built around orchestral heaviness - bands that use keyboards as lead instruments, vocalists trained in classical technique, and compositions that stretch beyond verse-chorus-verse. The festival sits at 500-1000 capacity, keeping the atmosphere intimate while the sound stays massive.
The Sound
